Carol Monroe began her career in retail banking in 1988 at Hartford National Bank. Through the years, Carol worked at First Federal Savings of Torrington, Eagle Bank, and Webster Bank before joining Northwest Community Bank in 2000 as an Assistant Branch Manager at our West End Branch.
Carol was transferred in April, 2002 to our Main office as an Assistant Branch Manager. She was promoted in January, 2009 to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of our New Hartford location.
Carol is a graduate of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Leadership Northwest program. She is on the Board of Directors for the New Hartford Business Council and currently holds the position of Treasurer. Carol is a volunteer for the Northwest United Way and enjoys lending her time to such events as the Penguin Plunge and Read Aloud.
Carol enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, reading and golfing.
