
Steven J. Zarrella

Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer
Steven Zarrella began his banking career in 1987. Steve worked for Farmington Bank, Liberty Bank, and Mechanics Savings Bank before joining Northwest Community Bank in April, 2011 as a Commercial Lender. Steve was later promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.
Steve obtained his Bachelors of Science from Central Connecticut State University and his MBA from Rensselaer Polytech Institute. Steve is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in partnership with The Wharton School.
Steve is very passionate about his community, and he serves on several boards: Vice Chairman of the Board for the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, Board Member for the Northwest Connecticut Development Corporation, Board Member for the St. John the Evangelist School, and former Board Member for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury. Steve has participated in several United Way of Northwest Connecticut Annual Appeals.
Steve lives in Watertown with his wife Cammie and enjoys photography, especially photographing sports, and golf.
